Supports high-precision imaging suitable for industrial use
By mounting the camera on a dedicated bracket, the yaw direction is fixed in the correct direction, reducing the impact on accuracy. Drift is also reduced by using information sent from the aircraft to estimate the gimbal's attitude. Furthermore, by using it in conjunction with the separately sold RTK GNSS receiver "RTK Kit (RTK-1)," highly accurate location information can be recorded by offsetting the position information onto the camera's imaging plane and acquiring position information synchronized with the shutter signal.
Simple mechanism that reduces setup time
Only one part needs to be operated when attaching a camera. Fewer mechanisms require center of gravity adjustment compared to the GBL-T3 gimbal, shortening setup time. Convenient scales are provided for adjustment of each axis. The design also prevents interference with the camera's battery or memory card slot, allowing for replacement without removing the camera from the gimbal. The Airpeak Flight mobile app also offers gimbal parameter presets.
