Hoodman invented the professional, heavy-duty drone landing pad that can be deployed without mounting pegs. The new LP21 pad is designed for prosumers with small drones. This weighted tri-fold drone landing pad is easy to deploy - just throw and go .
We developed a unique, patent-pending design that sandwiches six triangular plastic inserts between two sturdy vinyl exteriors, allowing the LP21 pad to conform and hug the ground like no other pad can, and prevent the pad from being blown away by drone winds.
Each pad is reversible, with a fluorescent orange side for daytime flying and a fluorescent green side for night flying.
Compass symbols are printed on each side, allowing drone pilots to quickly reference their direction. The unique tri-fold pad measures approximately 53cm in diameter and can be folded three times to store it at 1/6 its original size. A rubber strap is included for storage.
